BEWARE, This company is based in Omaha. They have not paid bonuses to the drivers that were promised (Several Times). They were not funding the health insurance. So people were still having health insurance premiums deducted from there pay but did not have any coverageThe employees have hundereds of thousands of claims outstanding and are in collections from health care providers. They have had over 200 tractors reposessed along with 300 trailers.
The owners are so deep in debt to secured and unsecured holders there is no way they will survive. Please do not fall for there lies. Go to work for an ethical and financially secure company. At least you know you will get paid. They want 500.00 up front for a deposit. You will never get that back.
Believe me BAD NEWS.
If any old Merit drivers are out there give us your input.

| I was a driver for Merit. They have not had health insurance for drivers, but we had continued to pay for it. They promised bonuses(monthly and quaterly) as part of our salary but never paid them. Once, a day before we were to get our bonuses, they sent a Qualcomm message stating we were not getting them. They filed for bankruptcy on October 19,2007. They are being investigated for fraud from over 200 ex employees by the state of Nebraska. People, as myself, are being sued and threatend over what we thought was legit health insurance. Several of us may be forced to file bankruptcy because of what Merit had done to us. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! This is all legit and can be checked for validity. | They have not updated that site for a while. I called to see if they were still hiring,and I got the same line of B.S. that I got when I started. Also, QDC, was or still is a company that hires for Merit. It is a company that is based in Florida that does outside hiring for companies. It really is a shame. It really is. |

| Gary Wills is in Hawaii with Uli Eittel. Nice. The ship sinks while he plays. Aparently they are getting married. I wonder what Uli will think about being married to a convict. Funny thing, she has no knowledge of the industry, yet paid $300,000 a year. Apparently whats in her pants is silk. |

I wished this was a Marvin Gaye song but unfortunately no insurance has been going on since Jan of 07.
I have doctor and dentist bills from last January I have had to pay.
Jim Hill, Gary Wills, his NAZI wife and moron son have lied and cheated employees out of money and their dignity.
They have slandered people with tales of embezzlement and have personally attacked good people with lies about their personal lives.
Hopefully when this is over they will be in jail and out of the business
forever.
The employees have recieved letters stating that the new insurance is not in effect. However, guess what they are still deducting the premiums from their checks AGAIN. HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON!!!
I am in disbelief. |
