| I am looking for class A work that will give me Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sundays off. I have 3 yrs tractor trailer experience. I have no problem finding work, it's just that companies don't seem to want to work with my schedule request. I live in Columbus, Ohio. Any suggestions? Money is not a big issue. |

Can you park a truck at your house?
If so, you may be able to find work shagging, preloading, and delivering loads for carriers not from Columbus, but still having a heavy freight their.
If you have some time, I suggest going down to the major shippers and/or receivers in Columbus (Kal Kan, etc) and writing down the names of companies that have spotted trailers there, and even the one's with trucks and trailers there. Then call them and tell them what you're looking for and see if any of them bite. It's worth an hour of work to find a job that meets your needs.
Good luck,
Curt
