New driver looking for a job

Hello!

I'm a new driver in Alabama that was trained by a freind who is a O/O. Every trucking company that I can find will not hire anyone without 1 or more years of experiance or making me go to driving school.

Does anytone know of any companies in the Birmingham, Gadsden or Huntsville area that will hire drivers with training but no driving school training.

they're not in Alabama, but you may want to call J B Hunt, or Ozark Motor Lines.

Might also contact swift or schneider in memphis/west memphis area and are usually looking for drivers to attend classes and ride with trainers.

Also, "good ol buddy" training don't hold crap for weight anymore. You may as well just say you were driving for a friend and leave it at that.
