| I am looking for a company that will hire me and my partner for team drivers, No experience like most company's want! If no one will hire me? How do I get the experience? I am fresh out of Truck Driving School with a felony that is over 11 years old still no one will hire me and my partner has 3 preventable accidents on his record? And still no company will touch us? We are looking for any information to get us rolling again. We even thought about leasing our own truck but that takes money we don't have? And my partner is having trouble getting a position with any one due to the preventable accidents no one will put Insurance on him. We do not know if we leased a truck if we would still run into the same problems. If anyone has information on any of these questions please let us know. We need something ASAP my partner is losing his house due to unemployment reasons. |

You need to stop searching for team jobs and start driving single. Your felony record is a sore spot, but I'm guessing it's not near as bad as 3 preventable accidents. Call CFI, JB Hunt, Werner, Schneider or any of the other large carriers and they'll take you. After 6 months of driving for them, you'll become employable to some of the smaller carriers. Lack of experience is just like a felony; time has to accumulate before you are employable.
Your partner is going to have to figure out why he keeps crashing and prove he has fixed it. Why would ANY company give a $100,000 truck and a $25,000 - $48,000 trailer to someone who has proven that he can't drive without crashing? Put yourself in the companies' shoes. |
