My advice is to start looking for a graveyard shift first, to get your foot in the door. After a few months, let mgmt know you are looking for a day shift. If someone gets hurt, quits, or gets fired, you'll be at the front of the line.

If you are interested in a job in the trucking industry in the state of Maine, you must have a current Maine driverís license. Once you have a driverís license, you can apply for a commercial driverís license, also issued by the state of Maine.
