I have fifteen months driving. I had three accidents, one in april and two in may. I was released from my trucking job. I have been trying to get hired by another company but no one will hire me. None of the accidents were dot reportable. Total amount of damage for all three was about twenty five hundred. I learned from all of the accidents and know I will be a better driver. All of the accidents were in parking lots of the company that I worked for. What can I do? All of the big company tell me to get six months with a small company and all of the small companys say to go with a big company. All I know is that no one will hire me. I have four small children that my wife and I are trying to adopt and I need to be working. No one will give me a chance. Please Help me! I'm going nuts trying to find a job. It's a shame that I finally found a career that I loved and because of making some mistakes I can't get Hired. Confused

You are planning on adopting four children as truck driver? Do you hate kids or what? Why would anyone who is not home every night want to adopt four kids? Do you hate your wife or something? Does the adoption place know you are a truck driver? I can't think of a worse plan for the kids than what you are proposing. Plain stupid. Period.

As far as you getting a driving job, forget it. You crashed three times in the parking lot of the company you worked for. You shouldn't be driving at all, not to mention and 80,000 pound vehicle at 65 mph.

My advice to you is to find another profession that keeps you home every night, and adopt one kid at a time. After you're sure the kid is doing well and your family can financially afford it, adopt another one.

But for Pete's sake, think about the kids and not just the check you'll get for adopting them.

1st up, you'll need to if not already done, acquire a copy of your DAC/USIS file to see what has been added by your former employer(s).
That copy of the file will tell you what other companies are seeing and can be why these companies are not interested in pursuing your application or abilities any further.
You can contest ANYTHING on your DAC/USIS file through the medium set up at DAC/USIS.
